Who we are
Air-O-Clean is an owner-managed Swiss company specializing in electronic air ionization. For many decades, we have been working on ways to improve air quality in a sustainable manner — without chemical additives, fragrances, or short-lived solutions.
Our focus is not on standardized products, but on well-designed systems that are precisely tailored to the respective application. We combine physical expertise with many years of practical experience from a wide range of applications.
Our history
Air-O-Clean was founded in 1977 under its original company name and has been involved in technical solutions for air treatment from the very beginning.
Over the years, this developed into a clear specialization in ionization-based systems. Through targeted partnerships, a consistent technical focus, and the subsequent repositioning as Air-O-Clean, an independent company with a clear identity was created.
Milestones in detail
1977 – Company foundation
Foundation of the company under its original name “Wild & Co. AG” in Richterswil (ZH) with a focus on technical air solutions with a product range from Bentax.
1999 – Partnership with Bioclimatic Germany
Collaboration with an internationally active manufacturer of ionization systems and expansion of the technological base.
2002 – Renamed to “Air-O-Clean AG”
Clear positioning with a focus on air quality and independent brand identity.
2007 – Appointment as general representative for ARS Switzerland worldwide
Expansion of the portfolio and deepening of technical expertise in the field of air ionization.
2010 – Takeover and relocation
Continuation of the company under a new structure with the same technical focus. Relocation of the company to Feuerthalen (ZH).
Today
A specialized Swiss company with decades of experience and a focus on durable, maintainable solutions.

Administration & Board MemberResponsible for organizing day-to-day office operations, providing administrative support to the team, and coordinating internal processes. As a member of the executive board, she contributes her experience and strategic vision and ensures that projects are implemented efficiently.
